trapped in my own perception of a stranger's dream trapped in my own conception of a weird idea now please stop - get me out of here lost in a stranger's dream, where nothing's what it seems please release me - show some compassion because here I am forced to suffer at my worst lost in a cloud of darkess - behind a wall of fog lost in a world of blackness and grotesque ideals trapped in echoes of doubts, searching for clarity oh dear stranger, please explain why you imposed this dream on me oh please stop - get me out of this cruel nightmare with a forlorn future case lost in a cloud of darkess - behind a wall of fog lost in a world of blackness and grotesque ideals trapped in echoes of doubts, searching for clarity oh dear stranger, please explain why you imposed this dream on me a cloud of darkness, a wall of fog I see only blackness in a world of doubts I need you to explain this scenery I can't start to believe that I'm stuck in here

about

"Black Box Delays" is a cooperation between Dos Asmund and Mortal Void, including one brand new original song and five remixes, four of them of previous Mortal Void songs.

How this whole thing came about? Once both were introduced by a fellow musician, they quickly realized they liked each other's stuff a lot. Quite as electronic musicians often do, they decided to remix each other. In this case, Dos Asmund found real fun in remixing tracks from the 2017 Mortal Void album "Of Shadows and Mirrors". Mortal Void, on the other hand, enjoyed those remixes a lot. Before both realized what's happaning, there were four remixes. Not entirely coincidental, there was also a Dos Asmund track that's just waiting for lyrics & vocals, as what would later become "Clarity". Of course Mortal Void loves remixing just as much as Dos Asmund, so there had to be a Mortal Void remix of that song.

It pretty much sounds like this:
"Ba dum ts ba dum tsa ba dum ba
boo ba dum ba da ba dibi dibi doo."

...and that's just the chorus!
